ST EDWARD’S HOARDINGS

OXFORD

St Edward’s School, Quadrangle Hoardings

Designed to echo the look of the school architecture whilst building work was being carried out these trompe l’oeil hoardings featured teaching staff, students, ground staff, governors, builders and architects of the new building. They also featured cut-outs that rose above the top of the hoardings, which have given security staff a fright on more than one occasion!

3 Meters high, 600 meters long, other details

St Edward’s School, Field side Hoardings

A similar project to the one above, the Field side hoardings were designed to soften the impact of building work on the school’s field side sports area. Much larger in scope, it’s a montage of all the sports played on St Edward’s playing fields, courts and pitches. Printed on an open wove mesh so as not to catch the wind when secured to the metal uprights. 3 metres high, over 750 metres long…..

Shown here is just a small part of the project.
